Massage Therapy

Is there something inside of you that needs to shift,
and you want to help your body move it along?

Do you have pain, discomfort, or unresolved emotions
that need relief, so you can move on feeling your best?

Do you love self-reflection and want to
communicate better with your internal self?

“I realize that I have been blessed with health and strength to overcome not only the miles on the road,
but also to overcome the hard times in life when you want to throw in the towel.
When I cross the line now, it is a celebration of the fact that I didn’t quit.”

Tasya Lacy, U.S. Navy Human Resources Officer

Your bodywork is designed to fit your physical, mental, & emotional needs.
A combination of healing modalities such as reflexology, craniosacral , massage, and reiki
may be used in one session to help the body restore it’s natural balance & rhythm.

Raindrop TechniqueRAINDROP TECHNIQUE – is a simple application of dropping essential oils on the skin along the length of the spine. The oils are gently worked into the skin using light strokes which stimulates energy impulses through the nervous system and into the entire body. Raindrop can be very beneficial in boosting the immune system, breaking up toxins and bacteria/viruses that lay dormant in the body. Raindrop is also known to help balance one’s energy, reduce stress, and can be an overall great treatment on its own or in addition to other types of bodywork.

ReflexologyREFLEXOLOGY is a unique method of using the thumb and fingers to stimulate more than 7,200 nerve endings in the feet. These nerve endings correspond to all parts of the body, including organs and glands. Stimulating the nerve endings in the feet is intended to eliminate energy blockages thought to produce pain or dis-ease in the related areas. Reflexology is used to prevent, rather than cure, and is used to relieve a wide variety of ailments.

CranioSacral TherapyCRANIOSACRAL – CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a light-touch approach that can create dramatic improvements in your life. It releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance.

Few body structures have more influence over your health and well-being than your central nervous system. And few body systems have more impact on your central nervous system than the craniosacral system, the soft tissues and fluid that protect your brain and spinal cord.

Deep Tissue MassageMASSAGE – Therapeutic deep tissue massage involves the manipulation of the soft tissue structures of the body to prevent and alleviate pain, discomfort, muscle spasm, and stress. Massage therapy improves the functioning of body systems promoting overall health and wellness and may improve the rate at which the body recovers from injury or illness.

ashiatsuASHIATSU – Ashiatsu is a barefoot massage technique in which the therapist delivers deep, broad, consistent pressure while utilizing their feet and body weight. Working with gravity instead of against it, Ashiatsu therapists are able to provide an effective therapeutic massage without causing pain to themselves or the client.

Warm infused oil is applied to the body making this deep massage very luxurious and relaxing. Parallel bars are used above the massage table for balance, support and client safety.

REIKI (ray-key) – is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. “Reiki” is from two Japanese words: Rei = God consciousness; Ki = the life force that animates all things, when combined to form Reiki the result is a spiritually guided life force energy. It is the life energy that flows through the body. Like acupuncture, Reiki works by removing blockages of energy and stimulating its flow. Instead of manipulating the body energy, Reiki taps into a higher level of energy and channels it through the practitioners hands into the receiver, to aid in healing. When you receive Reiki, it is as if the universe is giving you a jump-start.
